Urban Environment and Public Work State Company was converted from the Hue Environment and Urban Company according to Decision No. 4041/QD-UBND November 29, 2005 of Thua Thien Hue. Before it was a Public Work and Land management State Department, established right after the liberation of the South. In 1985 it was converted to the Urban management Company. In 1991 it was converted to Urban Environment and Hygiene Control Centre
