Agriculture

Thua Thien Hue has 330,000 ha of forest (130,000 ha of which is productive); 128 km of coast line and 22,000 ha of lagoons with a wide variety of fishing and aquaculture products.

Agriculture sector (Crop farming-Forestry- Fishery) in Hue has continually grown in the period of 2006-2010. In 2010, GDP of agriculture is 12.5% (increased 3.5%). Agro-Processing is one of the priorities of the Provincial Government in the period of 2010-2020. Thua Thien Hue Province has all the popular forms of tourism including marine tourism, eco-tourism, community tourism and cultural tourism
